Our 20th Annual event at Willamette Mission Park
will be July 4th - 6th, 2008
Approximately 1000 reenactors are expected at the event demonstrating the living and fighting conditions of the early 1860's. Reenactors will be in period dress, living in period camps and recrating the battles of the civil war. Visitors can see civilian, military, musical, fashion adn medical demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Schedule
9 am: Period camps open to the public
11 am & 3 pm: Military Battles
Medical, musical, fashion and military demonstrations each day
"Living History" demonstrations continuously in the camps
6 pm: Camps close (Friday and Saturday only. Camps close at 3 PM on Sunday.)Admission

Location: This event is one of the most well-attended events in the northwest with a great battlefield and excellent support from the state park.
Take the Brooks exit (Exit 263) off I-5 and follow the signs to Willamette Mission State Park located west of the interstate along the Willamette River. Camps, sutlers and battlefield are located far into the park. See map below.

Reenactor Registration
Registration:
Registration of reenactors before unloading and set up is at the registration tent. Reciprocating organizations will need to sign a waiver to participate and must be current members of their respective organizations. Any reenactor found to be unregistered will be dismissed from activities by their commanding officer. You must carry your registration card and event card with you at all times.
Modern camping:
Notify event coordinator, Bill Alguire, by email so you can be assigned a spot number.
Sutlers:
All sutlers must register and be confirmed for each event. Please contact Sutler Coordinator: Teresa Steinbock 503-829-3678
Safety:
Event participants must have an event card to take part in the event. Battle participants must have a current written safety test on file with their company commanders. Horses and their riders must have passed an NCWC mounted test or similar test given by their reciprocating club.
Weapons will be inspected at first parade and anytime thereafter by order of their brigade commanders or their respective company commanders.
